
NO.1 展览概况 Exhibition Overview
The 2025 Berlin Art Biennale will be grandly held from October 30 to November 5, 2025, at Berlin’s Kunstquartier Bethanien. This edition of the biennale brings together 251 artists and art projects from over 30 countries and regions, spanning more than 50 cities, curated jointly by 12 internationally recognized art institutions. Upholding the core philosophy of “Diverse Boundaries, Resonant Dialogue,” the Berlin Biennale continues to build a global art platform that transcends geographic limits, deepening the contemporary European art discourse while actively promoting in-depth exchange and resonance with artistic forces from Asia, the Americas, and other emerging regions.
2025柏林艺术双年展将于2025年10月30日至11月5日于柏林Kunstquartier Bethanien隆重举行。本届双年展汇聚来自超过30个国家及地区、50余座城市的251位艺术家与艺术项目,由12家国际权威艺术机构联合策展。延续“多元边界,共振对话”的核心理念,柏林双年展持续构建一个跨越地域界限的全球性艺术平台,在深化欧洲当代艺术语境建构的同时,积极推动亚洲、美洲及其他新兴地区艺术力量的深度交流与共振。


NO.2 核心单元:亚洲焦点 Spotlight: Asian Voices
The “Asia Focus” section is dedicated to showcasing experimental works by emerging artists from the Asia-Pacific region. This year, 40 exclusive booths are specially set up for Asian artists, representing 16 countries and regions, including China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Half of these artists are making their debut at a major European biennale. Among them, Xu Hangda (Hangzhou), Kuma You Qianxun (Singapore), Saito Rina (Tokyo), Tran Phuong (Hanoi), and collectif mesa (Manila) will present large-scale installations and panel works on a European stage for the first time, highlighting the forefront of contemporary Asian art and its diverse narratives.
“亚洲焦点”单元致力于呈现亚太地区新锐艺术家的实验性创作。本届特别设立40个亚洲艺术家专属展位,涵盖中国、日本、韩国、新加坡、越南、菲律宾等16个国家与地区。其中,半数为首次获选参展欧洲主流双年展。艺术家徐航达(杭州)、Kuma You Qianxun(新加坡)、Saito Rina(东京)、Tran Phuong(河内)与collectif mesa(马尼拉)将首次在欧洲平台展出其大型装置与架上系列作品,展现亚洲当代艺术的前沿探索与多元叙事。



Artists Vanessa Zhou (周雯), Jiawei Zhou (周佳玮), Saito Rina (Tokyo), Gina Chang (张润芬), and collectif mesa (Manila) will, for the first time, present their paintings, installations, and new media works on a European platform, showcasing the diverse explorations and unique narratives at the forefront of contemporary Asian art.

NO.3 特别项目:未来感知实验室 Special Project: Future Perception Lab
With a deep focus on cross-cultural art, the 2025 Berlin Art Biennale continues to expand collaborative dimensions with global cultural partners. For the first time at the Biennale, the “Future Perception Lab” will be launched on-site, featuring six contemporary artists from Asia and Europe—including Floria Zhao, Giulia Marino (Italy), and Sebastian Koch (Austria)—alongside five international new media artists. Together, they will present a series of immersive interactive installations exploring the boundaries between technology, nature, and perception.
基于对跨文化艺术的深度关注,2025柏林艺术双年展持续拓展与全球文化伙伴的共创维度。将首次于双年展现场发布 “未来感知实验室” ,邀请来自亚洲与欧洲的六位当代艺术家,包括Floria Zhao、Giulia Marino(意大利)、Sebastian Koch(奥地利) 等,与五位国际新媒体艺术家共同呈现一系列沉浸式互动装置,探索科技、自然与感知的边界。

NO.4 全新奖项设置 New Awards
2025柏林艺术双年展亦将推出两大全新奖项——“数字艺术奖” 与 “跨媒介实验奖” ,由纽约现代艺术中心、东京当代艺术理事会等12家机构联合评审,旨在鼓励艺术家在科技伦理、可持续未来与跨学科实践等方向的突破性表达。
The 2025 Berlin Art Biennale will also introduce two brand-new awards—the “Digital Art Award” and the “Transmedia Experimentation Award.” Judged jointly by 12 institutions, including the New York Museum of Modern Art and the Tokyo Contemporary Art Council, these awards aim to encourage artists to pursue groundbreaking expressions in areas such as technology ethics, sustainable futures, and interdisciplinary practices.
