A Creative Stage for Young Artists
Let imagination be heard
and let young artists take the stage
![]()
The 2026-2027 Rome International Youth Art Exhibition, themed "The Garden of the Gods and Young Imaginations," invites young dreamers from around the world. Created especially for children and young people, it is an imaginative encounter across borders that brings art and imagination together. The subject might be a candy paradise hidden on the moon, cloud animals that tell stories, or a rainbow kingdom inhabited by gentle monsters.
Paintings and handmade works by young artists will take a "creative flight" to Italy and arrive in Rome, the Eternal City of art. In an exhibition space where history meets the present, these works of youthful imagination will be displayed alongside works by children from around the world.
Italian children may paint pizza and the Colosseum, Dutch children may picture turning windmills beneath the stars, and Moroccan children may shape clay suns. Every work is a small window through which the world can see a young artist's distinctive imagination, and through which each young artist can discover a wider world.

This is not simply a competition; it is a large and welcoming international gathering centered on children's creativity. We believe that every child is an artist by nature and that every form of imagination deserves to be valued. Young artists will take part in the event on site in Rome, receive an official exhibition certificate, and may also have the opportunity to exchange greetings and ideas by video with young artists on the other side of the world.

Let us connect through our brushes and brighten the world with creativity. We look forward to meeting in Rome and discovering this garden of imagination.
