The New Global Paradigm in Education
Across the world, education is undergoing a profound transformation. We are no longer content with merely transmitting knowledge. Increasingly, educators are turning their attention to broader dimensions—nurturing children’s emotional well-being, expanding their global perspective, and awakening their inner cognitive awareness.
联合国教科文组织（UNESCO）在其《教育2030行动框架》中就明确指出了这一方向：“教育不仅要锻造学生的认知能力，更要着力培养他们识别与管理情绪、关怀他人、做出负责任的选择、建立积极的人际联结，以及从容应对挑战等关键的社会情感能力。”
这一框架反复强调：教育的终极目标，并非止步于知识的积累，而是要引导孩子真正理解这个世界，并学会与之有效对话。
UNESCO, in its Education 2030 Framework for Action, clearly highlights this direction: “Education should not only develop students’ cognitive abilities but also focus on cultivating key social-emotional skills, such as recognizing and managing emotions, caring for others, making responsible decisions, building positive relationships, and coping effectively with challenges.”
This framework repeatedly emphasizes that the ultimate goal of education is not merely the accumulation of knowledge, but guiding children to truly understand the world and learn to engage with it effectively.

Illuminating the Language of Art for Children
In the eyes of children, the world is a kaleidoscope full of curiosity and questions. They long to explore the mysteries of life and understand the complexity of the world. How, then, can we protect this precious desire to explore, while guiding them to think critically and seek answers? Art education plays a crucial role in this journey.
More than abstract lectures, art is the key to inspiring wisdom. When children open their curious eyes to observe the world, art education quietly opens a door of discovery for them—not merely teaching techniques, but empowering them with the ability to converse with the world through color.
Art goes far beyond the transmission of skills. When we guide children to pick up a paintbrush, we are actually teaching them a unique “language.” This language helps them observe society, express their innermost feelings, and even attempt to influence the world. It offers a way of learning that is more vivid and aligned with a child’s nature than mere reasoning alone.

Unlike traditional education, which emphasizes rote learning and exam preparation, the charm of art education lies in:

The Andersen (International) Art Award was established by the Danish Andersen Cultural and Art Development Committee in Odense, Denmark, and is co-hosted with the Danish Andersen Society in Copenhagen. This prestigious annual international art award was created to commemorate Hans Christian Andersen’s achievements in culture and the arts and to recognize outstanding international artistic creations.
The Andersen (International) Art Award is open to art enthusiasts worldwide. Its mission is to leverage the influence of Andersen’s cultural legacy to support and encourage the creation of exceptional artworks. Inspired by Andersen’s fairy tales, the award aims to stimulate the creativity and imagination of children, youth, and art lovers alike, allowing them to express their fairy tale dreams and their vision of a beautiful world through artistic creation, while discovering the artists of tomorrow.

ART NOW GLOBAL国际当代艺术设计大赛是一项面向全球的高规格艺术赛事。由国际青年艺术组织（OCIYAC / Organizing Committee International Youth Art）主办，联合纽约当代艺术中心（NYMA）、圣彼得堡美术中心（SPAC）、东京当代艺术委员会（TCAC）等全球知名艺术机构共同支持。

The ART NOW GLOBAL International Contemporary Art & Design Competition is a high-profile global art contest. It is organized by the Organizing Committee International Youth Art (OCIYAC) and supported in collaboration with renowned international art institutions, including the New York Museum of Contemporary Art (NYMA), the Saint Petersburg Art Center (SPAC), and the Tokyo Contemporary Art Committee (TCAC).
The competition is open to students and faculty of art institutions worldwide, as well as independent artists. Its aim is to promote cross-cultural dialogue through art and design, inspire creativity, provide a platform for global artists to showcase their talents, and foster innovation and development within the international art community.

ART OLYMPICS巴黎卢浮宫国际插画大师赛是享誉全球的高规格青少年艺术赛事，每年在法国巴黎卢浮宫卡鲁塞尔厅（Carrousel du Louvre）举办颁奖盛典。

The ART OLYMPICS Paris Louvre International Illustration Masters Competition is a prestigious global youth art contest, held annually at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, France, for its award ceremony.
The competition responds to the call of UN Secretary-General António Guterres, emphasizing that global climate change is one of the most urgent challenges facing humanity. Its mission is to inspire public awareness of climate change through artistic creation, encourage lifestyle changes, and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action).
World Cup Youth Painting Competition 世界杯青少年绘画大赛
世界杯青少年绘画大赛是由联合国儿童基金会（UNICEF）首个官方支持的世界级青少年绘画艺术的盛会，被誉为青少年绘画艺术的“奥林匹克”。
大赛旨在建立国际青少年之间的友谊，促进全球文化交流，充分开发和展示青少年的艺术素养与才华。同时关注全球贫困儿童的教育问题，为联合国儿童基金会的“帐篷学校”项目筹集资金，帮助身处困境的儿童重返课堂，是全球规模最大的儿童公益艺术项目之一。
The Youth World Cup Painting Competition is the first globally recognized youth art event officially supported by UNICEF, often hailed as the “Olympics of Youth Painting.”
The competition aims to foster friendship among young people worldwide, promote global cultural exchange, and fully develop and showcase the artistic talents of youth. At the same time, it raises awareness of educational challenges faced by children living in poverty and supports UNICEF’s “Tent Schools” project, helping disadvantaged children return to the classroom. It is one of the largest international children’s charitable art initiatives.
