The
Silk Road
is a passage connecting the four great civilizations, with a long and splendid history. It is a trade lifeline developed, maintained, and nurtured collectively by the countries and peoples along its route, where diverse civilizations attracted and influenced each other. It served as a path for the transmission, dissemination, and integration of various cultural seeds, and stands as both a witness and symbol of global cultural exchange and mutual learning.
To enhance cultural exchanges among youth and children from China and countries along the Silk Road, and to cultivate creativity and artistic appreciation among young people, the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation Youth Science and Culture Exchange Center and the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre jointly initiated, together with Chinese cultural centers along the Silk Road, the 2024 “Hello! Silk Road” International Youth Painting Contest and Exhibition. This event aims to use visual art as a medium to showcase the core spirit of the Silk Road — peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning, and win-win collaboration — and to promote cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and connection among youth from Silk Road countries.

作品要求
- The artwork should convey positive values, align with the event theme, and can be created using oil paint, watercolor, gouache, sketching, printmaking, animation, or other visual art forms.
- The theme of the artwork must relate to the culture, history, friendly exchanges, or contemporary life of countries along the Silk Road.
- The submitted digital file must be clear and complete, free of shadows, distortion, or tilt, with a single file size of 5MB–10MB, a resolution of at least 300 dpi, and in JPG or PNG format.
- Submissions must be original and newly created works, not previously exhibited or awarded in other events, and AI-generated artworks are not allowed.
- Artwork should depict national flags, maps, or similar elements appropriately and correctly. If content does not meet publicity standards, authors must ensure authorization for modification or allow appropriate adjustments.
- The artwork should not display the author’s name, age, school, or any personal information within the image.
1.作品内容积极向上，符合活动主题，采用油画、水彩、水粉、素描、版画、动漫等形式创作。
2.作品主题需与丝绸之路沿线国家的文化、历史、友好交流交往或当代生活有关。
3.作品电子文件清晰完整，无阴影、扭曲、倾斜，单幅大小5MB-10MB，分辨率不低于300dpi（像素/英寸），图片格式jpg或png。
4.投稿须保证为新创、原创作品，且未在其他活动中参展及获奖，不得使用人工智能工具生成作品。
5.作品内容应规范绘画国旗、国家版图等画面。如内容不符合宣传发布标准，需要保证授权修改或适当删减。
6.作品画面主体不得体现作者姓名、年龄、所在学校等个人信息文字。

评选方式
- Judging Panel: The panel will be composed of renowned artists, art critics, and education experts invited by the organizers.
- Evaluation Criteria: Artworks will be assessed based on relevance to the theme, creativity, technical skill, and aesthetic value.
- Evaluation Process: Preliminary judging → Final judging → Announcement of winners → Online exhibition.

版权要求
- Participants must ensure that their submissions do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, and patent rights.
- If a submission involves plagiarism or any infringement, the organizers reserve the right to disqualify the participant.
1.参赛者需确保提交的作品不侵犯他人的知识产权，包括但不限于著作权、商标权和专利权等。
2.若参赛者提交的作品涉及抄袭、侵权等问题，主办方有权取消其参赛资格。
注意事项
- Participants must submit their artworks within the specified deadline; late submissions will not be accepted.
- Participants must ensure that their submissions are original and not plagiarized. Any instance of plagiarism will result in disqualification from the competition and judging.
- The intellectual property rights of all submitted works belong to the participants, but participants must allow the organizers to use their works for event promotion and exhibitions.
- By registering for this event, participants are deemed to agree to the organizer’s free use of their submitted works in related activities. No remuneration will be provided for participation.
- The organizers reserve the right of final interpretation of all matters related to this event.
1.参赛者需在规定时间内通过报名方式提交作品，逾期提交将不予受理。
2.参赛者须确保提交的作品为原创，不得抄袭。一旦发现抄袭情况，将取消参赛及评选资格。
3.所有参赛作品的知识产权归参赛者所有，但参赛者应允许主办方在活动宣传和展览中使用其作品。
4.报名参与本活动即视为同意主办单位在相关活动中对参展作品的无偿使用，参加本活动的作品均无稿酬。
5.主办方对本次活动拥有最终解释权。

Age Requirements
Children and teens aged 5 to 18 who reside in China, Singapore, Laos, Romania, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, or Tanzania are all welcome to register and take part.

Awards
Four award tiers will be presented — First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize, and Merit Award — and every selected participant will receive an electronic certificate of recognition. The award allocation is as follows:
First Prize: 50 recipients
Second Prize: 100 recipients
Third Prize: 150 recipients
Merit Award: an unspecified number of recipients
