The ViaRT Awards is approaching its 5th edition! This year, we are excited to launch a brand-new challenge – “1.5°C: Combating Global Warming with Creativity.”
We warmly invite primary and secondary school students across Singapore to participate in this annual art competition, addressing the urgent issue of global warming. The competition also supports the National Environment Agency (NEA)’s “Correct Recycling” campaign, promoting the 3R culture: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
ViaRT奖项即将迎来第五届比赛！今年，我们很高兴推出全新挑战——“1.5°C摄氏度：用创意对抗全球变暖”。诚邀全新加坡的小学生和中学生参与此次年度艺术比赛，共同应对全球变暖的紧迫问题，并支持国家环境局（NEA）的“正确回收”运动，倡导3R（减少、再利用、回收）文化。
Competition Objective
This competition aims to inspire participants to creatively tackle the global warming crisis, highlighting the importance of the 1.5°C target set by the Paris Agreement. Participants are required to create artworks or designs using recycled materials, demonstrating artistic skills while conveying powerful climate action messages. Submissions can include energy-saving devices, eco-friendly fashion, or other innovative ideas related to climate change.
Entry Requirements
- Age Group: Open to primary school students (7–12 years) and secondary school students (13–17 years) only.
- Materials: Primarily recycled materials, encouraging the use of items around you that are no longer needed to minimize new material usage. Digital artworks (e.g., photography, video, digital illustrations) are also accepted. Participants are encouraged to use recycled materials in innovative ways.
- Submission Method: Submit photos and/or videos of your artwork.2D artworks: Scan the artwork.3D sculptures: Take photos from front, back, and side views.Videos are optional.
- Submission Limits: Up to 5 photos (max 1MB each) and 1 video (max 100MB).

Submissions will be evaluated based on creativity, impact, and effectiveness in conveying the message. Winning entries may have the opportunity to be exhibited in the 2025 Singapore Sustainable Development Gallery.
Let’s harness the power of creativity to protect our planet!本次比赛宗旨在于激发大家用创意来应对全球变暖危机，强调《巴黎协定》设定的1.5°C温控的重要性。参赛者需使用再生材料创作艺术作品或设计物品，展示艺术技巧，还要传递有力的气候行动信息。作品可以是节能设备、环保时尚或其他与气候变化有关的创新想法。
参赛要求
年龄要求：本比赛仅对小学（7-12岁）和中学（13-17岁）学生开放。
创作材料： 以再生材料为主，鼓励使用身边不需要的物品，减少使用新材料。数字艺术作品（如摄影、视频、数字插画）也可以参赛，我们期待你们用创新的方式来使用再生材料！
提交方式：提交艺术作品的照片和/或视频。2D作品需扫描，3D雕塑需拍摄前、后、侧视图，视频为可选。
最多可提交5张照片（每张不超过1MB）和1个视频（不超过100MB）。

小学及中学组：一等奖200新币，二等奖100新币。
