Competition Background
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres delivered a special address at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, New York, calling on the world to take urgent action, honor its commitments, and implement concrete measures to combat global climate change. He emphasized that we must seize the moment and not wait for tomorrow — now is the critical time to face the facts. Humanity is but a speck of dust in the vast sweep of history.
Global warming and climate change are among the most urgent and pressing challenges facing the world today. In response to this crisis, each of us can make choices and changes in our daily lives that contribute to a more sustainable future. The 2025 ART OLYMPICS International Illustration Competition will focus on the theme of climate change. The competition aims to provide a platform for sharing solutions and creative responses to this global issue, inspiring people to adopt more climate-conscious lifestyles.The 2025 ART OLYMPICS International Illustration Competition is committed to raising awareness across all sectors of society, contributing to the goals of the Paris Agreement. The competition echoes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action — Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
Competition Award
The 2025 ART OLYMPICS International Illustration Competitionfeatures a range of awards, including the Masters Award, Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award, Communication Award, and Finalist Award. The OCIYAC Expert Jury Committee adheres to international USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) standards and, in collaboration with a panel of authoritative experts, has developed a brand-new evaluation system with independent intellectual property rights.
Among the Gold Awardwinners, OCIYAC will specially select 13 recipients for the ART OLYMPICS International Masters Awards, with a total cash prize pool of €10,000, distributed as follows:
ART OLYMPICS International Illustration Masters Award – 1 winner, €5,000
ART OLYMPICS International Illustration Creativity Award – 2 winners, €2,000 each
ART OLYMPICS International Illustration Visual Award – 10 winners, €100 each
All award recipients will receive a beautifully designed trophy and a prestigious certificate of recognition issued by OCIYAC. Each certificate is assigned a unique serial code and stamped with anti-counterfeit seals from four global art centers, ensuring its authenticity and exclusivity.
