The museum specializes in the history of China, Southeast Asia, South Asia, and West Asia, tracing the ancestors of Singapore’s diverse ethnic groups. The museum’s goal is to recognize that “our ancestors not only brought their tangible possessions to this land but also their original beliefs, values, and customs.”
