In this issue, we invited Hayley (@Hayley星晓星), a renowned Weibo influencer in the realm of parenting, to discuss her daughter’s journey with Tree Art and her parenting experiences.
Hayley, who her fans affectionately call “O Mom,” hails from Beijing and currently resides in Singapore with her husband and daughter. Her active presence on Weibo, where she shares her parenting philosophies and experiences, has earned her a loyal following among like-minded users.

本期 《幸福妈妈说》， 邀请微博百万粉丝的母婴育儿博主 @Hayley星晓星。为大家分享她的女儿在Tree Art学习经历和育儿的经验与感悟。
粉丝们习惯称呼她为“O妈”。O妈来自北京，与先生和女儿现居新加坡。由于她积极的微博上分享育儿理念与心得，因此收获了一大批志同道合的网友的喜爱。
Q1 Why did you choose to enroll your daughter in art classes?
As someone who has greatly benefited from studying art myself, I have a strong appreciation for its positive impact on personal aesthetic growth, quality of life, and my current career.
Q1 为什么会让孩子学习美术呢？
首先我自己就是学习美术的受益者，我也是自己从小学艺术学了很多年，我认为通过学习美术首先是对自己个人的审美不断的提升，还有对生活品质的提升，艺术对我现在博主的工作就是一个积极的影响。
Q2 Why did you select Tree Art as the place for your daughter’s art education?
Tree Art’s brand philosophy “From Education To Happiness” aligns with my own educational values for my daughter. I believe that by engaging in art, children can discover themselves, ignite their imagination, and foster independent thinking. By pursuing self-expression through art, they ultimately lead happier lives.

我认为Tree Art的品牌理念，通往幸福的教育和我自己对O妹的教育是不谋而合。我相信孩子可以通过艺术的体验可以发现自我，激发想象力。拥有独立思考的视角。通过艺术创作的追求自我，然后最终获得自己幸福的人生。
Q3 How has your daughter’s experience been with Tree Art?
My daughter has participated in various interest classes, and her favorite, by far, has been Tree Art’s art classes. We’ve noticed a significant improvement in her drawing skills; previously, she struggled to depict her thoughts on paper, but Tree Art has enabled her to express herself more clearly and effectively. Additionally, we’ve observed improvements in her observation skills, as she’s become more detail-oriented and capable of appreciating beauty from multiple perspectives.
Q3 请问您觉得O妹在Tree Art的体验怎么样？
O妹有参加几个不同的兴趣班，目前她是最喜欢Tree Art的美术课，把美术课放在第一位。我们目前的感受是她的绘画技巧有提升。举个例子以前她想去表达自己的内心的想法，她不知道怎么去描画。但是通过Tree Art的美术课，她可以更加清晰的去表达，画面效果呈现的更好。还有一点就是我们认为观察力是有提升的，变得更加细腻。以多角度发现生活的美。
Q4 Have you noticed any improvements in your daughter’s personal development since attending Tree Art classes?
Absolutely! My daughter’s focus and concentration have improved significantly. Even when she started attending Tree Art classes at a very young age, she’s always been able to stay engaged for the entire class duration thanks to Tree Art’s teaching methods. We’ve also noticed enhanced observation skills, as her artistic expression has become more detailed and refined. These advancements solidify our support for Tree Art’s art classes.
Q4 O妹上了Tree Art美术课之后，对她的个人身心发展有什么提升吗？
我认为O妹通过美术课得到个人的提升，专注力的提升。因为O妹刚开始来Tree Art上课还不到三岁，但是因为Tree Art的教学方式能够让她学习一个多小时的美术课。还有就是观察力的提升，通过学习美术课，她的艺术表达越来越细腻。O妹这两点的进步让我更加支持Tree Art的美术课
Q5 Do you and your daughter create art together at home? What type of art do you engage in?
When my daughter was very young, we would have her paint in the bathtub using soluble materials, which allowed for imaginative, mess-free exploration. Recently, we repurposed a paper towel roll to create a track-themed game, combining creativity and eco-friendliness.
Q5 妈妈在家会和O妹一起创作艺术吗？是什么类型的艺术呢？
在O妹特别小的时候呢，我们平时会让O妹在浴缸里面作画，我们会特地选用一些水溶性的材料，然后让O妹在浴缸里面进行一些天马行空的创作颜料，创作结束用水洗掉就好。在前不久我们有用那个纸巾的卷筒，然后做一些轨道的游戏，我们感觉既环保又有创意。
Q6 What parenting activities do you usually do with your daughter that can share with readers?
I try to expose my daughter to a variety of life experiences. For example, I took her to Yunnan’s terraced fields for fishing and enjoyed high tea at upscale hotels. I want to provide opportunities for her to experience diverse lifestyles. Daily activities include frequent visits to museums, art galleries, zoos, and botanical gardens.
Q6 请问O妈平时有什么亲子活动可以分享给女儿们的？
我会尽可能带O妹体验多种不同的生活。举个例子我会带他去云南的梯田抓鱼，也会带她去高级的酒店一起喝下午茶。希望O妹能体验到各种多种多样的生活方式。日常和O妹的活动是经常去博物馆、美术馆、动物园、植物园。
Q7: Can you recommend three picture books to readers?
“This Is How We Do It: One Day in the Lives of Seven Kids from around the World” By Matt Lamothe
The book introduces a day in the lives of seven children from Italy, Japan, Iran, India, Peru, Uganda, and Russia. Children around the world experience different breakfasts, unique clothing styles, and favorite games.
O Mom recommends this book as it helps children understand various cultures, respect differences, and support each other.
“The Most Magnificent Thing” By Ashley Spires
This is a charming story about a girl who decides to create something magnificent. She creates various inventions, experiences frustration, and ultimately learns that creativity requires time, patience, and perseverance.

“Miss Rumphius” By Barbara Cooney

《7个孩子的一天》
作者：马特·拉莫特
本书介绍来自意大利、日本、伊朗、印度、秘鲁、乌干达和俄罗斯的7个孩子真实的一天生活。地球上每个孩子一天的生活，从醒来那一刻起直至入睡，各不相同：他们吃的早餐不一样，穿的服装也个有特色，喜欢玩的游戏也各不相同。
O妈推荐理由：
通过这本绘本可以让孩子了解到这个地球上不同国家有不同的文化和习俗需要互相尊重差异并理解支持。
《美中之美》
作者：尤塔·鲍尔

希望通过这个绘本让O妹明白我们的人生不是只有一种模式的，勇敢追求自己真正想要的东西。
Q8 What impact do picture books have on your daughter’s artistic creations?
I would emphasize the importance of high-quality illustrations and content in picture books, as they subtly influence children. For example, after reading a picture book about famous chairs, my daughter was inspired to create imaginative designs with LEGO toys.
Q8 请问绘本对O妹的艺术创作有什么影响呢？
首先我觉得一个绘本的绘画品质和质量是非常重要的，因为一个绘本的不管优劣，对孩子都是一个非常潜移默化的影响。我举个例子的话就是有一个绘本是世界著名椅子这个绘本，O妹非常喜欢这本绘本，也带给O妹创作灵感去用乐高的玩具进行一些非常天马行空的创意。
Q9 How do you guide your child to manage emotions, especially during the “Horrible 3” phase? Has this phase changed her approach to artistic creation?
Emotional management is a significant topic, and I have shared videos about it on Weibo. One key point I emphasize is that emotions have no inherent good or bad nature. The foundation of emotional management lies in helping children recognize and distinguish their emotions. During the “Horrible 3” phase, my daughter expresses a stronger sense of personal subjectivity and prefers minimal parental intervention or suggestions in her artistic creations. Art serves as a channel for emotional expression and release. Parents can learn about their child’s emotions and mental activities through their artworks.
Q9 在您的微博提到目前O妹是处于H3 （Horrible 3）的叛逆期，请问您是如何引导孩子管理情绪呢？O妹的叛逆期有改变她的艺术创作方式吗？
我觉得情绪管理也是一个很大的课题，关于这个主题内容我也在微博专门开了视频跟大家分享过。我的视频有提到其中一个重点是我们家长需要更正的观点：情绪是没有好坏之分的。
情绪管理的基础就是我们需要交给孩子的认识和辨别自己的情绪，我们通常说的Horrible 3，其实对于孩子来说一个艺术发展的其中一个高峰期。O妹在Horrible 3的实际表现是，当她在进行艺术创作的时候，会有更加强烈的个人主观意识想法，O妹不希望家长给她更多的干预或者建议。孩子通过绘画其实是一种情绪表达发泄渠道，家长可以通过艺术作品去了解孩子当下的一些情绪和心理活动。
Q10 What gains do you hope O Mei achieves through her art education?
While I value improving drawing skills, I’m more focused on nurturing willpower. Reflecting on my childhood art education, the process was challenging but rewarding. My parents’ support encouraged me to persevere, and the dedication brought improvements in my drawing, aesthetics, and willpower. Time and commitment can lead to delightful surprises.
Q10 对于学习艺术的道路，你期待O妹有什么样的收获？
首先我觉得相对于绘画技巧上的提升，我更希望期待锻炼孩子意志力的过程。像我小的时候也学美术，就其实学画的过程是非常辛苦。但我一直挺庆幸自己一直坚持学习艺术，回想起学画的经历不仅带给我绘画和审美能力不断的提升，更能磨练我的意志力。
Q11 What advice do you have for families considering Tree Art’s art education?
Regardless of the art discipline, parental support is crucial. My successful art journey was made possible through my parents’ encouragement. Beautiful results come from dedication and effort, and time will yield unexpected surprises.
Q11 对于那些希望接受Tree Art美术教育的家庭，您有什么建议或者建议吗？
我觉得不管学习哪一个方面艺术，我认为家长的陪伴支持是非常重要的。回顾我儿时学画时，我父母给予我的支持去鼓励我一直坚持学画。每一份美好收获的背后是坚持不懈的付出，时间会带给你意想不到的惊喜。
Q12 Any words for Tree Art’s teachers or art classes?
