Paul Gauguin once said, “Artists are of two kinds: thieves or revolutionaries.”

Parents should adopt an open and creative perspective when viewing their children’s artistic creations; focus on their children’s ideas, imagination, and understanding of different things; refrain from evaluating how “similar” or “perfect” their children’s drawings are.

Such judgments can be detrimental to artistic creation and can ultimately limit children’s creativity and self-confidence.
这种评价对于艺术创作来说是大忌，久久后，既限制孩子的创造力，也挫伤孩子的自信心，使孩子不敢大胆表达自己。
This habit can also be perpetuated in daily life. Once we learn to perceive life and the world through an artistic lens, even ordinary days can blossom. Every child and every family will discover a unique way of perceiving the world and interacting with different ideas, civilizations, and eras, thanks to the power of art.
这样的习惯也会延续到生活当中，当我们学会用艺术的眼光看待生活、看待世界，就算是平凡的日子都会开出花来。每个孩子，每个家庭，都会因为艺术的力量，而开启另一种认知世界的角度，找到与不同思想、不同文明、不同时代的对话方式。
