This year marks Singapore’s 60th National Day. In this special anniversary year, we invited creators of all ages to use colors to depict a shared vision—a “future without cervical cancer”—contributing to the fight against cervical cancer.

The competition was jointly organized by the Alliance for Active Action Against HPV and the Tree Art Education Center, raising items and donations for SATA CommHealth for charitable purposes.

When art meets philanthropy, even a paintbrush can change the world. After more than a month, the “World Without Cancer” art competition has successfully concluded! This cross-generational artistic event received thousands of hopeful and creative entries, turning the medical mission of “eliminating cervical cancer” into a moving artistic force.

At the award ceremony, each honor carried hope, and every smile radiated strength. The creative works spoke of a shared belief: eliminating cervical cancer requires not only medical breakthroughs but also the attention and participation of everyone.

(Alliance for Active Action Against HPV)和美术教育中心Tree Art联手举办,为善达社区保健机构(SATA CommHealth)筹集物品和捐款用于公益。

The award ceremony invited Mr. Koh Juay Meng as a special guest to deliver a speech and present the awards.

Mr. Koh Juay Meng was honored with the 2024 President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Award as a “Leader of Good Deeds.” He has devoted over 40 years to volunteer service, previously serving as Chairman of the Singapore Senior Volunteers Association, actively promoting senior volunteerism and inspiring countless older adults to serve society with dignity.

Mr Koh Juay Meng

Eileen Dong speaks at the microphone alongside her daughter Pippi Alison Dong, sharing their story of giving back

We also invited Eileen Dong, the mother of last year’s participant Pippi Alison Dong, to share their small story of giving back. Giving a rose leaves a lingering fragrance. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to this charitable cause.

Although the award ceremony has concluded, this journey of art and philanthropy is just beginning. At the shining moment of Singapore’s 60th anniversary, we have collectively used art to envision a “world without cancer.” Each piece of artwork is a seed of hope, and every exhibition is a declaration of health—making this one of the most touching tributes to Singapore’s 60th anniversary.
